It took over 20 years during the mid 18th Century to build the Villa Pisani in Venice. The architects who took on this project were Gerolamo Frigimelica and Francesco Maria Preti. The villa was one of Napoleon’s residences and one of the venues used for the talks between Mussolini and Adolph Hitler. This vast building is set in sumptuous parkland and the stables are considered to be outstanding. The Villa Pisani is home to ’The Glories of the Pisani House’, one of Giambattista Tiepolo’s best known frescoes.
