The small church of St George sits on a hill which overlooks both villages Tiarno di Sotto and Tiarno di Sopra in the Ledro Valley. The location is San Giorgio Hill and visitors to St George are rewarded with a wonderful view from the summit which is quite easily reached via a mountain road and pathway. Part of the original church is visible and goes back to the 15th Century though it was rebuilt during the early 17th Century.
