St Bartolomeo is the parish church of Tiarno di Sotto, in the Ledro Valley. This aisle-less church was designed by architect Claricini in 1860 and built on a previous church site which dates back to 1348. The bell tower is 72 m high. Inside there is a beautiful high altar with a polyptych of 1587 believed to be by the Tintoretto School. The Madonna paintings are by Zorzi, the Last Supper by Valambrini and the Holy Spirit’s Descent is by Ignazio Unterberger. The marble side altars have fine Florentine mosaic decorations which date to the 17th and 18th centuries.
