The Oratorio dei Crociferi was built sometime in the 12th Century. It was once a part of a complex that included a church, a monastery, and a hospital that was transformed into a hospice in 1400. Inside was decorated by Palma il Giovane some time at the end of the 16th Century and the painted cycle tells the story of the crusaders and their hospital of the Oratory as a hospital church and of the Oratory services. The Oratory is sited opposite the Jesuit Church.
