The Museum of 18th Century Venice (Museo del ’700 Veneziano - Ca’ Rezzonico) is located in the last building planned by Baldassare Longhena. Inside it is constructed as an 18th Century palace complete with original restored furnishings and tapestries. The ballroom is worthy of note with its incredible trompe l’oeil and there are sumptuously decorated dressing tables in the ‘nuptial room’. The museum also has some paintings by Guardi and Canaletto as well as a special room devoted to many works by Longhi. There are also frescoes by Tiepolo.
