The castle of the Scaligeri family was converted into a Museo d’arte in 1925. Since then it has hosted important collections of works of art. These include sculptures from the 14th and 15th centuries, tables from medieval times through to the 18th Century, as well as jewellery, miniature paintings, clothes and arms. The castle has many rooms with sculptures like the ‘Treasure of Rizza Island’ from the 14th Century and other masterpieces. It would be worth spending a complete day here to explore this fascinating museum.
