The Ethnographic Museum can be found in a typical hay barn in the hamlet of Cima Rest. Here visitors can see objects on display chosen as much for their symbolic value as for their original cultural use. The valley’s heritage is documented in three main areas: the upper floor of the barn, the stable downstairs, and the ‘casera’ at the bottom of the ground floor. The tools here were used by the local cheese makers as well as in the field, and for woodworking.
