The beautiful Scuola Grande di San Rocco (Confraternity of St. Roch) is predominately a Renaissance structure. Dedicated to Rocco, who cured plague victims during the 14th Century, it stands as a neighbour to San Rocco Church. Visitors to the museum can marvel at the paintings by Jacopo Tintoretto including the ’Allegories’, ’The Annunciation’, ’The Flight to Egypt’ and ’The Life and Passion of Christ’. The collection of his remarkable works is the largest anywhere in the world.
