The Church of S. Zulian was built in the 9th Century, but has a 16th Century façade by Sansovino. There is a portrait of T. Rangone on the portal who was a benefactor of the church and the first ordinary man to be portrayed in a Venetian church. The style today is late Renaissance because of the work of Sansovino and Alessandro. A window by Serlio adorns the front of the church, while inside there are numerous paintings by Palma il Giovane.
