The Church of S. Giorgio in Varenna was built in the 14th Century. The façade has three portals with 17th Century decoration, a round oculus and small cross-shaped windows. There are three aisles with pointed arches and round pillars. The bell tower has a spire which was renovated in the 17th Century. The interior has panel paintings and a polypytch signed by G.B. Brentani dated 1468 as well as a processional cross of the 15th Century and a 17th-18th Century engraved Baroque confessional. The table is 14th Century and is the work of the Lombard School.
