The Chiesa di Sant’Agata in Vizzini, in the province of Catania, was at one time dedicated to St. Peter. The church of Sant’Agatha was originally built in the 14th Century but then rebuilt 400 years later some time during the 18th Century. The interior of this church has some interesting pieces which include a lovely altarpiece representing the Martyrdom of the titular saint and there is also a Baroque chapel dedicated to the Holy Sacrament.
