The Garda Lake near Torbole is very deep and, because of the southerly ‘ora’ wind that blows here from early afternoon until evening, has become a windsurfer’s paradise. No motor boats are permitted at this point in the lake and the Surf Torbole Club organizes a number of international windsurfing competitions from May to September. There are windsurf schools at Ptorbole Pavese, at Conca D’oro and at the Paradiso and Lido Blu Hotels.
