The Tommaseo gallery is only a stone’s throw from the Castle and Cathedral of San Giusto, in the heart of the city centre. You can find the gallery on the street that leads to the top of the highest hill in Trieste - specialising in Italian and International painters of the 20th Century. The gallery however does not restrict itself to any style or convention. Unlike the other galleries in Trieste, they do not have any spaces dedicated to local artists. This is a very refined and beautiful gallery with serious and knowledgeable staff.
