The Auditorium Teatro Vittorio Emanuele II, RAI, is one of Italy’s most prestigious concert halls. This venue was originally the Vittorio Emanuele II theatre; it was built in the 19th Century as an opera house. However the building and its interiors have been rebuilt on more than one occasion, until finally in 1953 it was acquired by the RAI which entrusted the building to the architect Aldo Morbelli to convert the theatre into a concert hall.
