The seafront was completely restored in 1990 by the town council. It is one of the many places that showcases the town because in summer and winter many people love to stroll along here. Designed purely for pedestrians and continually expanding, the promenade is one of the longest in Italy. The town council has plans to extend it further. All along the seafront there are elegant designed park benches and many buildings that have undergone restoration.
