The Dunes are situated immediately to the south of Ravenna between Lido di Dante and Lido di Classe. If you follow a path through the old pinewood you arrive at a stretch of coast that stretches for around seven kilometres to the left and right of the Bevano River outlet. A series of dunes along the coast reach a height of two metres and are created by the constant modelling of the wind. The area is fascinating for the range of vegetation and plants that thrive here.
