The Pinocchio Garden or Terme Campione is situated on the Lungoirno near the site of the new courts and takes its name from an ancient thermal establishment that existed in the area. It is better known as ‘Parco Pinocchio’ because of the bronze statue by Antonio Petti. Close to the entrance is a monumental fountain, a pergola covered in wisteria, palm trees and imaginative illuminations. There are secondary paths leading off the main walkway that leads to a children’s playground. The amphitheatre in the park houses bars, toilets and a hall.
