The Cristallo Theatre claims its secret of success is putting on up-to-date plays in its programme. For many years they have collaborated with the Contrada Company who specialises in performing plays in the Trieste dialect, as well as other interesting items from the national circuit. The Cristallo Theatre is well appreciated and supported by the Trieste public and this can be seen by the continuing popularity of the Sunday morning matinee performances which are aimed at children.
