Stabilimento di Miramare is a bathing establishment, which has some of cleanest water on the Giulian coast, the result of a combination of sea currents. It is within easy reach of the famous, though tragic Castello di Miramare that was the home of Maximilian and Carlotta Hapsburg. It is an extremely peaceful area with some breathtaking panoramic views, a special place for many families and mothers with their babies. Unfortunately the beach is not a sandy one, but then there are no sandy beaches in Trieste.
