Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine del Soccorso
Via Quaranta, 65 San Severo, Foggia 71016 - Italy

Map
The Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine del Soccorso Baroque church dates back to the 18th Century. However the cult of the Virgin Mary and the veneration of the miraculous statue began in 1514, with the arrival of the friars of the Augustinian order. In the niches of the upper level are statues of Saint Augustine and Saint Isidoro Agricolo created by the Palmieri brothers around 1780. Inside the church there are wooden statues of Saint Francis di Paola, Angel Gabriel, Guardian Angel and Saint Raphael created in 1750. The church was officially declared a Marian Sanctuary of the diocese of San Severo.
