The San Leonardo al Lago church is not far from the town and is famous for its fabulous frescoes by the artists Lippo Vanni and Giovanni di Paolo. It dates back to the 12th Century and sits on top of a hill that looks out over a valley. It was originally a hermitage, but it is now abandoned. The building has a simple façade, decorated by a portal and a rose window. Also next-door is a former convent that is now a private residence.
