The church of S. Maria Assunta was first documented in 1106. The present building has a Baroque style, having been restored in 1728. Inside there is a single nave and nine Baroque altars along with a Suffrage side chapel which has some attractive decorative friezes and stuccos. The high altar is beautifully decorated with marble inlay and here hangs a large painting of Our Lady of Assumption, a work by Craffonara. The other church treasure is another of this artist’s pieces - L’Addolorata.
