The Royal Amory of Turin was installed in 1837 by King Charles Albert. This holds one of richest collections of arms in Europe. It has been grouped in three separate sections, which includes the Rotonda containing arms which date from the 18th and 20th centuries. The Galleria Beaumont is where visitors can see armour and other trappings, and lastly there is a medal collection of the Royal Palace, which has an exhibition of Oriental weapons.
