Pietracamela is a small mountain village in the Rio Arno Valley. There are numerous houses here of the 16th and 17th Century built of local stone some with their original two-part windows. Also worthy of note is the 15th Century casa de Li Signuritte. San Giovanni Church was built in 1432 and San Donato, and San Rocco churches, are both of 16th Century. At San Leucio Church you will find a wooden organ and an unusual holy-water basin, which has engravings of aquatic animals.
