The Picture Gallery is home to two collections of artworks. One displays works ranging from the 15th to the 18th Century by artists like Filippo Lippi and Defendente Ferrari and with examples of the Flemish, Caravaggio and Veneto schools. The second collection includes around 60 cartoons by Gaudenzio Ferrari and his school. Here visitors can see the models that were used for sculptures by the Collino brothers as well as work by 19th and 20th Century artists, Bagetti, Casanova, Ferro, Grosso and Spalla.
