The Parco Appio Claudio is located between the Via Appia Nuova and the Via Tuscolana and is a superb spot for taking photographs. The remains of three aqueducts, the Marcius aqueduct dating back to 140 B.C., the Claudius aqueduct from 52 A.D., and the Felice aqueduct from 1500 A.D dominate the whole area. It is great to be able stroll among these fascinating ancient monuments. And of course the ’Colli Albani’ in the background just adds to this lovely spot.
