The Palazzo Tagliavia in the town of Sciacca was built in the 19th Century in a Neo-Gothic style. This palace has a battlemented façade with three doorways and pointed arches and was designed by the architect Gavanti. It has a remarkable Gothic three-light window over the main entrance. The palace was the seat of the Revolutionary committee in 1848 and King Ferdinand I also stayed here. There is a picture gallery inside which houses a good number of masterpieces.
