The Palazzo Scaglione in Sciacca was built in the 18th Century. Today it houses a museum, where various objects are on display including works of art from a 19th Century collection of Francesco Scaglione. Among the exhibits are paintings, mostly by Sicilian artists, printings, coins, archaeological relics and ceramic pieces. In one halls you can see a lovely crucifix fashioned from ivory and mother-of-pearl. The building itself is also worth visiting for its frescoes and fine majolica floors.
