Palazzo Perollo in Sciacca dates back to the 15th Century. There are three Gothic two-light windows in the façade. There is also a small 18th Century balcony, with the overall look being that of Baroque. The interior has an interesting Catalan style staircase. The story goes that in 1529 the lifeless body of Perollo was trawled through the streets of Sciacca by a runaway horse and was then abandoned outside this palace. This story is described in the ‘case of Sciacca’.
