The Palazzo Mazzancolli was built in 1400 in a late medieval style for Ludovico Mazzancolli. The front, which is quite austere looking, has a covering of medieval ashlars and has small frame marked windows. You can still see the remains of two towers and the Mazzancolli family coat of arms. It was restored by architect Benedetto Faustini around 1800 and again modified a hundred years later in the present medieval style. Today is it the seat of the State Archive.
