This permanent Palaeontology Exhibition displays a rich fossil collection and is a must for anyone interested in the early history of Umbria. Here visitors can see the remains of several ancient mammals including the complete skeleton of a fallow deer and reconstructions of animals such as a hyena, and a sabre tooth tiger. There is also a diorama of Umbria when it was covered by the waters of the ancient diorama of Umbria.
