The Oratorio dei SS Vincenzo e Anastasio was once part of a much larger complex of the 13th Century. The façade is quite plain but there are a few treasures hidden inside. These include a Madonna and Child with Saints, a masterpiece by Sano di Pietro. Also here is a superb detached fresco of Christ blessing, by an unknown artist, which has been taken down from the building’s façade. This fresco is thought to be the oldest in Siena and dates from the early part of the 13th Century.
