The National Museum of Pasta, situated on the slopes of the Quirinal, was created in 1993. It comprises 11 show rooms and narrates 8 centuries of the history of Pasta, Italian food known the world over. There are various displays, from the old machines to the traditional tools like rolling pins and sieves. From the first grindstones made of stone, to the modern kneading machines, it’s all here. During the museum route, visitors can see the processes of working, baking, drying of the pasta, and the creation of a variety of pasta shapes.
