The Museo del Territorio holds data on Riccione and its territory from the Prehistory to the Roman Age. One section has fossil remains, while another contains geological matter of the territory illustrated with a wide range of fossil, rock and minerals. A reconstruction shows an ancient Palaeolithic environment of the Conca low valley and early ceramics and flint artefacts of ancient settlements. There are also exhibitions on the Iron Age and the Bronze Age periods. The final section is devoted to the Roman conquest and civilisation with findings from local farms of the territory and along the Flaminia road.
