The church of Maria Santissima del Carmelo in Ragalna is 19th Century. The façade has undergone several changes and now has a flight of steps of lavic stone. The square bell tower is in Gothic style with lancet windows. The church has a single nave and many of its original features including numerous statues. Among the finest are those portraying San Francesco da Paola (St. Francis of Paola) and the Madonna of Lourdes. The beautiful high altar is of finely worked marble and displays a painting of the Madonna del Carmelo who appears to a friar.
