The Jewish Museum (Museo della Comunità Ebraica di Trieste Carlo e Vera Wagner) is a small but very important museum for the Jewish community of Trieste. Over the centuries, many of the well-known advocates of the city came from the Jewish community and have established a valuable cultural tradition. The museum isn’t large but it holds many precious items that chart the history and work of the community. The collection is made up of religious ritual objects, silver and other materials. It is sometimes possible to book out of hours guided tours.
