The Dome in San Giovanni la Punta is dedicated to S. Giovanni Battista. An architecturally interesting building, it has a Baroque façade. The Mother Church dates back to 1838 and has a lovely bell tower and fine high-relief stuccoes. In the Holy Spirit Church you can see an attractive statue of San Cono, and the 1900s Holy Crucifix Church is one of the most attractive religious buildings in the town. The Castello Carcaci was once the residence of the Paternò Princes, and the remains of the Palazzo Baronale are also worth a visit.
