The Diocesan Museum currently houses many sacred items of art. These include pyxes, goblets, and 18th Century canonicals, as well as more modern paintings of a religious subject. One section is dedicated to epigraphic items some with fragments of inscriptions from Principis’ graves. The ‘Capital’ hall displays a capital from Frederick’s era resembling the Castel Del Monte capitals. The Troia Cathedral apse is a real treasure house, with an interesting collection of sacred objects such as goblets, candle holders and ivory items.
