The Delfinario Rimini is a popular attraction for anyone interested in dolphins. It hosts a group of dolphins belonging to the Tursiops truncates species and is open from April till the end of September. The centre houses an aquarium with lively reproductions of marine landscapes for river, tropical and Mediterranean sea creatures. There is a museum displaying dolphin skeletons, multicoloured molluscs, crustaceans and other fascinating marine animals. The centre also specialises in ‘dolphin assisted therapy’ for autistic children.
