The Convent of San Benedetto can be found in front of one of the most prominent architectural works of the whole area - the cathedral of Troia. Built in the 16th Century, the convent is now home to the Museo Diocesano. Inside there is some magnificent triumphal Baroque architecture with paintings, furniture, and sacred ornaments dating back to the 15th and 18th Century. The interior also contains gratings that marked the boundary of which the nuns of the Saint Benedetto convent could join the liturgical celebrations.
