The Ciro Bracciante Garden is named after a young boy who was tragically killed in Salerno and is sited in the centre of the crowded quarter of Mariconda. The creation of this green area is part of an urban re-development plan started by the town council and has improved the living standards of the area. In the centre of the park is a pond with playing fountains and a small amphitheatre that is used for public performances.
