The Church of Specchia, erected in 1605, is a very interesting place, because its façade and part of the interior was rebuilt in the 18th Century. This convent and church belonging to the Black Franciscan Friars of the Capuchin Order dates to the 16th Century, but very little of the original building now remains. Since the Protonobilissimo family largely contributed to the building of this church it is not surprising to find their coat arms in the first 17th Century altar on the right inside the church.
