The Church of Santa Cristina stands next to the Church of San Carlo, close to the southern side of Piazza San Carlo. It was formerly called Piazza Reale and was a meeting-place of the old city. There are two small chapels decorating the only nave of the church, while the sidewalls are decorated with Ionic pilaster strips. There are paintings depicting scenes from the Sacred Books, the ceiling that has barrel vaults and cross vaults decorated with medallions depicting the martyrdom of Saint Christine. There is a valuable 18th Century wooden organ kept near the high altar.
