The Church of San Giovanni in Torno sits in a panoramic position overlooking Lake Como. The portal, built of marble, is late 15th Century Renaissance and the work of artists from Rodari. There are also some fine marble statues. The interior comprises a single nave and a wooden roof and there is a 12th Century Romanesque bell tower. The church was enlarged at the end of the 1400s and modified again in the 1600s and the 1700s.
