The Church of the Carmine (Our Lady of Mount Carmel), which has one nave, three chapels with high galleries, is illuminated by a row of windows. It was commissioned by the Carmelites and built by Filippo Juvarra. Birago di Borgaro designed the 18th Century altar and built the second chapel in a Baroque style. ‘Our Lady of Mount Carmel’ and ‘Blessed Amadeus of Savoy’ hang on the wall of the apse, and ‘Mary Immaculate and the prophet Elijah’ by Giaquinto are among the paintings preserved within the church.
