The Chiesa San Basilio Magno is mentioned in a parchment dating back to 1087, but according to historians it could date to early Christian times. It was altered in the 16th Century and again in the Baroque era. You can see remains from Roman times in the façade in the portal and double lancet windows, also two friezes. Inside are two finely decorated doors one of which has Roman a inscription in the lintel. Against the entrance wall there are two half-columns, one being the Servian era 3rd Century AD, the other from the Trajan – Hadrian’s era 2nd Century AD.
