The Chiesa di Sant’Eufemia is an important example of Byzantine architecture. The church can be dated to the 9th-13th centuries with a dry-stone wall surrounding the it. The façade is plain, with a double slope; one portal has a Roman arch with a double lancet window on top. The walls are built of stone and the roof made from metal plate. The interior has one nave and two aisles, enclosed in the centre by massive pillars holding Roman arches. The nave ends in a small hemispherical apse with a small stone altar on it.
