The Chiesa di San Martino was rebuilt in the 17th Century, though it retains its beautiful campanile which dates back to the 13th-14th Century. It has a crenulated top level and a tall octagonal spire. Inside, there are two Gaginian Madonnas and a polyptych which is believed to be the work of Antonello de Saliba, a pupil of Antonello da Messina. Across from the church are the ruins of the 13th Century castle-prison that was once the fortified tower and part of the city walls.
