The Chiesa del SS. Crocifisso is thought to have been built between the 10th and 12th Century. The interior contains a many good paintings; worth seeing are the frescoes of the late-mannerist period of the Martyr Saints Clemente, Paolina and Cassiano, which are visible below the altar on the right apse and an sculptured cross dating to the 1600s. There is a large mosaic that and was carried out by masters from Ravenna and dates to 1961. There have been many alterations to the façade over the years.
