The Cathedral Church is now part of the Benedictine Abbey. Restored over the years, it has kept its original bell tower which dates back to late Middle Ages. The interior houses some precious wooden statues as well as stuccoes which date to 1300. There are some art works from the abbey which include a wooden polychrome statue of Santa Gertrude la Grande, a wooden polychrome Crucifix from the 1500s, and paintings such as the beautiful 1500s Annunciation, the 1600s San Giovannino and the 1700s Sant’Antonio Abate. Other objects include 18th and 19th Century silver relics and chalices.
